How to configure a Yealink SIP-T20 Enterprise IP Phone

How to open up the Yealink Web Management Pages

  1. Plug an ethernet cable to the Internet port at the back of the Yealink Phone and the other end to the HUB/Switch of your network.

  2. Plug the power in and your Yealink Phone will boot up.

  3. Click MENU button on the phone and then click the OK button to find out what IP the phone has.

  4. Then open your browser and enter that IP in the URL field and press Enter.

  5. In the pop-up window enter in admin for the username and admin for the password and then click OK.

Firmware Upgrade

  1. Click the Upgrade tab.

  2. Under Select and Upgrade Firmware click the Browse button to select the firmware you downloaded earlier.

  3. Then click Upgrade.

Setting up the Account

Click the Account tab.



  1. Select On radio button for Account Active.

  2. Enter anything in the Label and Display Name fields.

  3. Then enter the SIP username in the Register Name and User Name fields.

  4. Type the password in the Password field.

  5. Type in the SIP Server and Outbound Proxy Server fields. Leave the respectively Ports 5060.



  1. Click on Advanced.

  2. Make sure that UDP Keep-alive Message is Enabled.

  3. And that 30 is in the UDP Keep-alive Interval(seconds) field.

  4. Shorten the Login Expire(seconds) to 60.

  5. Click Confirm at the very bottom.

Setting up the Phone

Click the Phone tab.



  1. Change Time Zone to +10 Australia(Sydney,Melbourne,Canberra).

  2. Then put in the Primary NTP Server field.

  3. Click Confirm.



  1. Select Line as the Type for Line Key 1 and Line 1 in the Line column.

  2. And same for Line Key 2.

  3. Click Confirm.
